notorious has always done things a little differently compared to other choirs. Whether it’s singing to revellers on Broad Street in the pouring rain, celebrating the centenary of Benjamin Britten’s birth in St. Paul’s Church or filling a historic coffin-making factory with heavenly choruses at Halloween, the choir will forever strive to offer a diverse and creative programme for Birmingham audiences.

We need the support of our fans and audiences – practically, emotionally, and financially. The Friends scheme allows notorious to stay special. Seeing a familiar, friendly face at a gig is always a great aid for calming the nerves, whilst the money Friends contribute provides vital funding stability to enable us to programme ambitious programmes of events.

In return for an annual subscription cost, Friends get:

Members of the Friends scheme can also be rightly proud of the fact that they’re supporting a charity and a community choir that has been going from strength to strength for more than two decades. Hundreds of people have been able to benefit from the joy of singing thanks to their commitment, and in that time the choir has been heard by thousands of people.

In 2023, we have celebrated the music from Birmingham at the historic Highbury Hall on Friday 31st March, enjoyed a Summer extravaganza at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens on Sunday 2nd July, and have an upcoming Christmas concert ‘A Ceremony of Carols’ on 9th December. The cost for a 2023 notorious Friends subscription is £32
